Could you provide more details? Please let us know how you are importing the CD. Is it from the "upload" command on the worklist, and if so, are you using the java applet (advanced uploader).

Also please send a message through onepacs to "Admin" telling us the name of the patient involved. (Dont post in this thread as it is private health information.)

Hi, To import the CD we use Java Applet and with the option CD/DVD, the process of charging the images finish correctly, but when we go to “view study” we can’t see them.
Message sent by the patient onepacs.
Thanks.

Carmen -

The images that were sent are not valid DICOM. The DICOM tag for samples per image has a value of 1 but the Photometric Interpretation tag is listed as RGB. This is not allowed. The Samples per Pixel must have a value of 3 when Photometric Interpretation is RGB.

It would appear that these images should have a Photometric Interpretation tag of MONOCHROME2 as they are 8 bit images. Typically a color CT would be a 24 bit image. A value of 1 for the samples per image tag would also be appropriate if this were meant to be a MONOCHROME2 image.

Regards,
Jeremy
