Electronic Signature Correct Time zone

Post by sdavis92 » Fri Aug 26, 2011 11:25 am

I have noticed that the time zone displayed on signed reports is always CDT. The radiologist is Eastern and the Facility set up is Eastern. Is it possible to make the time zone correct?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve -

The report submission displayed time is relative to the logged in users timezone. The browser timezone is generally set from the computer's timezone setting. (Generally you must restart the browser after changing the computer timezone) Thus, if your computer is set to the Central timezone then it will display in CDT for you. If facility users and radiologists from the east coast have their computers set for the east coast timezone then they will see the report submission time in their time and timezone.

Regards,
Jeremy
