Downloading to Gateway

Post by mindi2210 » Thu Dec 17, 2020 9:14 am

We have been having a lot of trouble downloading tomographic images (mainly) from the OnePAcs cloud to the Gateway. We have our Gateway set up to send and receive images from facilities in the area via VPN. When we try to download studies it seems to not want to download large volume tomographic series. Any thoughts? Is there a setting in the Downloader or on the back end in the jmx-console that would cause this?

Question, are you using the study retriever to retrieve studies to the gateway? If so you may want to check the query string being used to make sure it doesnt exclude large studies. Is it one of the default query strings?
Also if you have a VPN connecting the gateway with these local facilities, do those facilities also have onepacs gateways installed? If so you could configure the study retriever to download the images directly from those gateways rather than going through the OnePacs cloud which would be faster for large studies and may be more reliable for very large studies:

The VPNs are directly into the Hospital/outpatient clinics PACS systems, they do not have gateways. We select the case we want to download from OnePACS and hit the download button at the bottom of the screen. We have the retriever set up to push to the Gateway. So is it just possible the studies are too large? It seems strange as the will go from the modality (mammography) to the Gateway then out the the OnePacs PACs in full, but can't but sent back.

I have also selected just a series at a time, and sometimes I can get a larger series to download and store, but generally one or two will fail or download but not store.

In the study retriever preferences, on the General tab, what does it say next to "Worklist query"?

Is this what I need to do?

"To completely eliminate this limitation, remove the following text from the worklist query:

and numberOfSeriesRelatedInstances < '2500'
