Hi,
I have a referring physician office (4 doctors), who would like to be able to view images on the patient's they order exams on. What is the best way to go about doing this? They wouldn't necessarily need a diagnositic viewer. They would like to see each others patients for coverage purposes.
Referring physician access
Re: Referring physician access
Hello -
I would recommend creating a facility user account for each referring physician with something similar to the clinician permission set to start that is only granted view facility access. If they have someone that can manage their accounts for them, you could first create a facility user manager for that facility which can, in turn, manage other accounts for the facility. The facility manager would only be able to create other facility users and other facility managers in that facility and only be able to grant permissions that they already have. Account requests could be used to invite them to create a OnePacs account to allow the user to partially set their own information. If necessary, user accounts can be filtered to only have access to cases that are referred by one or more referring physicians from the office. They will be able to login and view a worklist with only the cases they can view, view reports, and view the case with either the Java web viewer (if they have Java) or the simple web viewer.
