Portable Reading Station

Post by kgoodarzi » Mon Nov 17, 2014 12:50 pm

One of our radiologists does a lot of outdoor activities and would like to purchase a portable and light reading workstation. The MacBook pro has a 5K Retina display, but wasn't sure if it was considered a diagnostic quality display. I would appreciate any input or if you could direct me to a site with more information on the subject.

Best,

Kamy

I think you're referring to the 27" iMac Retina which offers a 5k display. However, that would be much less portable than a MacBook Pro.

The ACR has some technical guidelines.

Justin

Hi Justin,

Thank you very much for the information. Yeah, I mixed it up! The MacBook Pro has a 3.5K display. I shall read the document.
BTW, please let me know if you'll be at RSNA. I would certainly like to meet you in person.

Best,
