These tools are good but should have a keyboard shortcut associated with them. Also when I right click to bring up spatial locator, the context menu pops up and obscures the image. Can this be disengaged?

Re: reference lines and spatial locator
The shortcut for reference lines is F in the current workstation version. We can certainly add a key for spatial locator, we will put that in the next version.
As far as the context menu popping up, if you just click the right mouse button briefly, then windows will think you want the menu. If you click and hold the button down a little bit rather than releasing right away, then this will be interpreted as using the tool rather than calling up the context menu.

Re: reference lines and spatial locator
That would be great! As a tangential question, is it possible to put spatial locator in the right click context menu? Is the context menu configurable to the user now or would that require a future enhancement?
spatial locator and reference lines are used extensively in spine imaging which is almost exclusively what I read.
Thanks!

Re: reference lines and spatial locator
Actually the next version of OPW will have new easy ways of selecting the spatial locator and other tools. It will also be in the right-click context menu. I think you'll be very happy with it.
Re: reference lines and spatial locator
while on the topic of tools, one of my radiologists has asked if it's possible in the Workstation to window and level while depressing the left mouse button. So far i can see the middle mouse button/wheel can be depressed to window and level and also the right mouse button if activated, but I cannot set it to the left button.

Dr. Rencus,
The window/level tool unfortunately can't be assigned to the left mouse button, as we have the tools divided into right and left sets. Is there another tool this radiologist wishes to use W/L in conjunction with that is also a left mouse button tool?
OPW 5.2 will include some handy new ways of switching between tool sets that might address their needs nonetheless.
