Odd Problem Today

Post by DataTrade » Wed May 02, 2012 6:39 pm

Today in the afternoon there was an issue where every study that was viewed via the java viewer, pulled up a cardiac ultrasound. This is odd, because this practice is an ortho group and would have never taken this kind of study. This happened to every user in the office and eventually corrected itself.

The other thing to note was that if you used the web viewer, the study came up correctly.

This was actually just a sample test case that was showing while we were updating the viewer to a new version. Seems like you caught things just as we were updating the viewer.

That is a releif! Should users be warned before such an upgrade is being performed?

Well Im surprised you saw the sample test case at all. It should have been a very quick process with a very small (or nonexistent) window of time during which something like that could have happened. At any rate, I will pass this on to the people that did the update so they can check into the procedure and minimizing any such transitional window.
