Report distributions

Hello guys.
on the page http://onepacs.com/products.php
I see two arrows I would like to understand better.

1. Report Transmistion FROM the OnePacs Web Server TO OnePacs Gateway.
- Does it means there is anyway to transmit the reports to the local gateway?
- I thought OnePacs never access the gateway and comunicaction were only from the gateway to the server

2. HL7 Report Interface FROM OnePacs Gateway TO Local PACS
- I was thinking HL7 was an integration protocol for talking to RIS systems, not PACs

Could you clarify these diagrams.
I would like to know if the reports could be stored on the gateway in someway.

Hi Hilario,

1) The reports are pulled into the OnePacs Gateway via a periodic query to the server. The server does not directly push the reports to the Gateway.

2) The HL7 interface can integrate with a PACS, RIS, EMR, or any other entity that supports receipt of an unsolicited ORU^R01 HL7 message.

I would like to understand a bit more your info.

1) How can I see the reports on the gateway? Where do I program the periodicity of this connection to download the reports? Is there everytime I send a new study I look if there are any report to download?

2) I am not familiar with HL7 protocol. Can you help me to understand more o give me any basic reference where to find how this is working.
