2 Separate studies on different dates end up as one in PACS

Post by kgoodarzi » Fri May 23, 2014 1:32 pm

Hello, our customer submitted two separate studies performed on different dates to OnePACS and they end up as one study. I have changed the accession #, Admission #, and the study ID, but no joy. Does anyone know which DICOM fields differentiates two studies?

Thanks,

Hello -
Study uniqueness is determined by the study instance UID. DICOM tag (0020, 000D)
