Replace Report Without Showing Prior Report

Hello,

My customer is complaining that every time we revise a report and substitute the original, the original report still shows at the bottom of the pdf, which creates extra work for them to clean up before giving it to the patient. Is there a way to delete the original report and create a new report so it will show only one report on the pdf? Besides, of course, deleting the study and resubmitting it.

Hi Rodrigo,

Previous reports cannot be deleted for historical purposes. The only way to force previous versions of the report to not display in the formatted report would be to remove the "$ADDENDA_BODY" token from your report template. Of course, you would also lose any addenda for the report.

Does onepacs keep an audit trail for when reports have been viewed by a user ?

Yes OnePacs logs that information. There's not a current easy way to get the information from the GUI interface but we can check on it for you if you need.

thank you for the reply. That is good to know. Certainly, it would be nice to confirm receipt of reports, especially for positive or critical findings. I hope that you will consider making that audit information readily available in the future.

A lot of audit information is already available online, that particular information is not currently readily available through GUI, but will be available, it is on the development timeline.

Regarding Report templates: If I use the token for study history I am still getting DICOM hx and Image comments displayed in addition to the history entered on the confirmation window. I have checked that the facility setting to append dicom fields and image comments to exam history text is NOT checked

How can I configure a token to just only display what is entered into the confirmation text window??

I will check on this. I believe there is no token that displays only what the tech enters currently, but it would be a simple matter to add a new token that displays only the history as entered by the technologist so we could probably add that feature fairly soon.

BTW GUI access to the audit history of who viewed studies and when has been completed and will be in next version of onepacs, expected within a few weeks. The above token stuff probably can get done too.
