HL7 Orders
- For organizations that receive incoming HL7 order messages for the purpose of study confirmation, it is now possible to search orders directly from the worklist. To do so you must have the advanced worklist enabled (user preferences) and then click on the “Add Tab” button and select “Add new orders tab”. This option is only present if you have the appropriate permissions and access to one or more facilities that support inbound HL7 order messages.
- A new worklist icon was added to represent studies confirmed for interpretation by HL7 order. Instead of the usual green checkmark, studies that were confirmed by order will have green checkmark with a circle surrounding it.
Facility distribution rules allow organizations to store studies through a single gateway but have those studies dispatched to a specific facility in OnePacs based on DICOM tag matching rules. This feature is available on the Facilities page (Admin -> Facilities) by editing a facility and selecting the “Advanced” tab.
- The hub facility concept has been expanded to support mapping to an endpoint facility based on a DICOM tag value from more than one hub facility.
- An endpoint facility may now specify multiple facility distribution rules based on DICOM tag for a single hub facility. This allows for mapping of multiple distinct values that many not be similar enough to use wildcard matching.
