External Facility Comparison Studies

Post by kgoodarzi » Wed May 07, 2014 4:49 pm

Hello,

Uploaded studies that were performed in a different facility do not end up under the same patient due to differing MRN. Does anyone has a workaround for this? Side-by-side comparisons are impossible due to OnePACS seeing these as two separate patients.

Thanks,

To sync up the MRNs, you can right-click on the comparison study and move it to the correct patient (i.e., update the MRN characteristics) by selecting "Move study to a different patient." The facility will need to have "Allow changes to metadata" checked in the facility settings.

Also if you want to just view two studies from different patients together, you can click on the "Explorer" tab in the workstation and ctrl-click to select two or more different patients, then click "view". It will open them together in one tab so you can just view them that way if you dont wish to update the MRN data.
