Saving DICOM FILM info

Each time I go into a patient account to film (in the Java Viewer) I have to reenter the DICOM information for the Film printer, it does not seem to "hold". Thoughts?

Ok, will check into this. So you are launching the viewer on the same computer each time, and each time it is launched, it wants the DICOM printer info re-entered?

Yes, every time I want to print.

Ok I have confirmed that actually it does not currently save these settings in between sessions. Sorry for the trouble. I will post it as an issue to include in a future update. How much text do you have to type each time? Perhaps a temporary workaround could be to use a macro-type program to fill out the form, so you dont have to do it manually. (Something like autoit).

You can also keep the Java viewer open rather than closing it and re-launching it every time.

Thanks,

Justin

Actually Justin raises a good point. You can simply leave it open, rather than closing it. When you open a new patient's study, it will open up in the existing running viewer. After rebooting the computer unfortunately would still need to re-enter the info, but at least while you keep it running, there will be no need to re-enter the info.
