Osirix not launching from Worklist

I used to click on the green icon from the worklist and the study was automatically open in Osirix.
But after I upgraded my Osirix, this is not happening anymore.
Is there any configuration I should check?

The Study Retriever is working fine and images are being sent to Osirix with no problem

I have already marked the checkbox "osirix:// URL support and XML-RPC support on port 8080"

Thank you

Paulo

I've just tested on my machine with the latest versions of everything (Osirix 5.7.1, Study retriever 5.1.3) on OS 10.8.4 and it works properly, bringing Osirix to the foreground and displaying the study in question when I click on it on the worklist.

You are correct that those two settings need to be checked. Not sure why the studies are not opening automatically for you any more. Are you on the latest versions of Osirix as well as the study retriever?

The only thing different is the my Osirix. I'm using the MD version 2.7.1

Does this feature work with the Osirix MD? I was using the free version before.

I have just tested with Osirix MD 2.7.1 64-bit, and it does work for me. Can I confirm the version # of the study retriever you are using?

One thing I did notice is that the study retriever attempted to launch the free version of Osirix when I have both Osirix MD and open source Osirix installed. Did this happen with you? If this happens the open source Osirix could take charge of ports that the retriever will need to communicate with Osirix MD and then the retriever may be unable to communicate with Osirix MD.

Can you do the following:

-Launch study retriever
-Quit open source Osirix, if it launched (probably should uninstall if you have the MD version also installed)
-Launch Osirix MD
-Go into study retriever preferences and select the "Destinations" tab
-Test the connection to Osirix

If there is a connection error, this would explain why the launching of studies from the worklist wasn't working. The above steps may fix the connection error, if the open source Osirix was also launching for you.

Can you check the above and let us know what you find?

Hello John
I uninstalled Osirix Free, Osirix MD and Study Retriever.
Then I deleted Osirix Data and OnePacs Folder from my Home Folder.
So, I installed again Osirix MD, Study Retriever and Osirix Free.
A message appeared related to a port conflit.
After set up a different port for the Free and MD version, the auto-launch worked again fine with Osirix MD.
I looks like the problem was really related to the same port being used by Free and MD Osirix versions.

Thanks a lot
Paulo
