I am having a problem where the local hospital is not able to upload the DICOM images to there pacs. Its like it is not in the correct format. The hospital is using Centricty Version 3.1.2. Can you tell me what the version DICOM OnePacs exports?

Hello -

Here is a link to the DICOM conformance statement for the OnePacs Workstation and OnePacs Gateway.

How exactly are you exporting DICOM to their Centricty system? (study retriever, query/retrieve from the gateway, etc) What specific errors are you seeing?

Regards

Hey Jeremy,

We are burning a CD from OnePacs. I am told there are no error messages, it is just not allowing it to be imported.

Thanks for the DICOM info, I will forward that on.

The CD/DVD export from the OnePacs web burns the DICOM files in accordance to Part 10 of the DICOM standard for offline media.

Instructions on burning can be found here
http://wiki.onepacsforums.com/doku.php?id=cdburning

Suggestions
1. Verify the CD. You can verify the images were burned by exploring the CD in Windows Explorer.
2. Attempting to import the CD into some other workstation like the OnePacs Workstation. See section "File system import" at http://wiki.onepacsforums.com/doku.php?id=raduserguide on how to import a CD into the workstation.
(Click on "Local Files" tab and find the CD drive, double click on the drive to explore the contents of the CD and there should be a DICOM folder that contains all the DICOM files, right click on that folder and select import)

Does your PACS support JPEG2000 compression? If not, you may need to push the studies from the OnePacs Workstation so that the images are uncompressed.
