Modality based routing of downloaded studies

Post by Akhil » Fri Aug 17, 2012 6:00 am

I have two servers at my facility - syngo plaza and syngo dynamics. I need to route all angiograms to syngo dynamics and studies of rest all other modalities to syngo plaza. Is it possible to configure this on the Onepacs study retriever and workstation. How do I achieve this?

Can I clarify how your workflow operates?

If you mean that you want all studies to be downloaded at one physical facility, but stored to different destinations depending on what type of study it is, the way to do that would be to run two instances of the study retriever, and on each of those instances, configure the retriever to download the studies you want by modifying the "worklist query" as shown here:

http://wiki.onepacsforums.com/doku.php? ... l_settings

You mention you are running two servers. You could install the study retriever on each of those servers, configure each of them appropriately, and have them store to the destination on that server (set address of destination to localhost or 127.0.0.1 in destinations on the retriever).

You dont need the full workstation/retriever package for this, you could download the study retriever only since you are just downloading and routing in this case.
