Gateway not forwarding

Good morning,

I am trying to load a gateway in a new location and it will receive the image but will not send to the central webserver. I have reinstalled 2 times. I have tried to manually send as well. Nothing shows in the audit log that it tried to send.

I also tried to echo the onepacs central server and could not.

Thanks,

Steve

If you can not c-echo the server, it sounds like the network in the new location is not allowing access to the server. There's really no other reason c-echo on a fresh install would possibly fail. What sort of location is this? Hospitals are notorious for having unpredictable and very strict network security rules. Can you check with the network administrator locally and ask them to look into it? If the gateway can not communicate with the server, it can't try to send the studies so that would be why you dont see a send attempt in the logs.

What exactly is the error message that comes up when you try to c-echo the server, btw?

Steve,

Did you create a facility definition in OnePacs?

http://wiki.onepacsforums.com/doku.php? ... ansmission

If so, did you verify that the AE title you entered into the gateway installer matches that of the facility definition? Please note that when you create a facility, part of the AE title is auto-generated. You can always view your facility AE title in Admin -> Facilities.

Thanks,

Justin

Hi Guys,

It was the firewall at the facility blocking. It is just a small Dr.'s office but the IT guy has big enterprise security in place. He originally said he was not blocking the transmission out but when we looked at the firewall logs there it was. This is the first time that has happened but now I know.

Thanks,
Steve

Yes, if you've set things up according to the instructions and can't c-echo the server, it's virtually always going to be some kind of network security blocking things. Glad to hear it's working now.
