Autodelete question

A question re: the autodelete function. Is there anyway to lock studies to prevent them from being deleted by the autodelete function? I would like to lock studies needed for patients scheduled for surgery so they will stay on OnePacs for the Drs to view. Thanks!

Hi,

Imaging data may be deleted once your allotted free storage space is consumed. If you would like to increase your storage allocation or archive your imaging your data on OnePacs please contact sales@onepacs.com to upgrade your account.

We are planning a feature similar to what you describe, however, we don't yet have a specific time estimate as to when it will be released, and what the specific details of the feature will be.

The way it works now is that, when you are over the storage allotment, the oldest studies (those which arrived the longest time ago) are deleted first, until you are back within the storage allotment. If you re-send any studies, they will again be dated as the most recently received, and thus will not be the ones selected for deletion if you are over the storage limit. So, you could re-send studies just prior to when they are needed to be sure they will be there.

As Justin mentioned, increasing the storage allotment with a paid version would be a good way to make sure studies stick around, and would save the time and trouble of re-sending, as well as having to keep track of what studies need to be online and when, making sure they're resent, etc. If you plan to do this often it would probably be worth investigating one of these paid solutions as the costs are quite reasonable.
