Manual study download to onepacs workstation

Post by Akhil » Thu Jun 28, 2012 1:24 am

I am trying to manually download a study from the worklist to my workstation. I have started the study retreiver and the download manager confirms that it is connected to the onepacs web server. When I try to download a study from the worklist error message appears saying "Please start the Onepacs study retreiver". I have tried to log out log in and resetting the study retirever multiple times.

It sounds like the worklist (web application) is not able to communicate with the study retriever locally.

This is usually due to security software such as a firewall. Try turning off your firewall and other security software temporarily, closing and reopening the web browser, and seeing if the behavior persists.

You may also want to check your hosts file to ensure that the line

Code: Select all

127.0.0.1 localhost.onepacs.com
exists and is on it own line.

On Windows the hosts file is located at %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Please make a backup of the file before changing its content.

Jeremy
