changing gender

Post by sunnyj » Thu May 08, 2014 5:58 pm

Can anyone tell me how to change the gender on a patient? When I click on study management it has a place to add the sex, but it doesn't have a way to save it. It appears that you have to create a new account for the person, but it won't let you do that either because onepacs says the person already exists.

Hello -

Certain fields of the patient uniquely identify the patient. Gender is on of those field. If a patient already exists you would need to move the study into the existing patient.

Jeremy, we have tried the "add a new pt" feature, but when we put the patient info in it says the patient already exists and won't let us do anything. Also is version 2.0 older or newer than 1.9.12 version? I was able to change the gender on the admin side, but I couldn't get it to transfer to the web page
